Claudia Joyner MD is in private practice in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy. Dr Joyner sees patients in the greater Chicago area and the northern suburbs, and is available for appointments via telemedicine. She is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.

She specializes in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Mood/Anxiety Illnesses, Peri-partum illnesses, ADD/ADHD and multiple other illnesses.

She has over 25 years of clinical experience and did her residency training at Northwestern’s Feinberg School of Medicine.  Her academic honors include Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society,  Phi Beta Kappa, and awards in Psychiatry.

She has held both elected and volunteer positions in the APA and the Illinois Psychiatric Society.   She’s taught residents and medical students, testified before the Illinois State Legislature on psychiatric issues, and  been interviewed on CNBC, local tv and radio.
